The University of Tennessee at Martin partnered with 4FDesign and joint venture partner Lyle Cook Martin to create a student recreation center that fosters wellness, connection, and campus life. Designed as a vibrant destination for students, the two-story facility features four collegiate-size basketball courts, strength and cardio fitness areas, racquetball courts, dance and aerobics studios, classrooms, offices, and flexible gathering spaces.

Carefully integrated into the existing campus, the recreation center complements UT Martin's pedestrian circulation, roadway network, and surrounding architecture, creating a seamless extension of campus life. Since opening in 2010, the Student Recreation Center has become the most heavily used building on campus, serving as a hub for recreation, fitness, and student engagement.
